Just one special shot...
Every once in a while you get lucky and get a shot that really stands out in your own eyes... I was walking around at the Greenport Conservatory looking for raptors... no raptors but I did get this little guy...this was taken from 50-60 yards away... 1DM2/500mm

Thats a great catch. Where is the conservatory? I don't think I've seen a bird that colorful around upstate NY before.
