OK... here goes my first attempt at Motocross... pictures that is. I used to ride a 125 many moons ago. Ross has been after me to go out and do some motorsports, and the weather has finally gotten mild enough for me to want to do it. I struggled with autofocus throughout the day, and it wasn't until 3 innings into a softball game later than evening that I discovered that I had been shooting the entire time on SINGLE SHOT focus... not AI-SERVO. What an idiot. I can't believe I got anything in focus shooting single shot, but about half my shots were keepable... so I got lucky. I now really want to go again.
Mike did a real good job out there ... it is a lot of fun having a couple pro and expert riders who will play up to the cameras and get magazine quality shots...along with having open track access... =)
Here are a few of mine...

Good stuff Ross... its cool to see different looks with us usually almost exactly the same equipment. Everyone looks at things a little differently. Hey... who's that tall skinny guy that got his head in one of your shots???
