In the iPAQ 6315 that I had, when a wired stereo headset was plugged in and an incoming call came in, I could pull the phone out of the holster, hold it up to my face, and talk into the mic while listening through the headphones.
With the Cin 8125, I have to use a 2.5 to 3.5mm headphone adapter. For all the adapters that I've tried, I have to pull the device out of it's case, unplug the headset, take the headphones off my ear, and say "hello?". Not very slick.
My preferred solution is a headset adapter that works like the 6315 did. But is the 8125/MDA design such that it's not possible? That's the basic question.
PocketPCTechs list several adapters...

The MONO version has an answer button that implies it works (but not stereo, of course). That's what I want (I think) but with stereo.
The STEREO version has a specific note that says "IMPORTANT: This adapter will NOT enable the internal microphone."
The reason I'm researching this rather than buying a wired stereo/mic headset is that I have a pair of headphones (without mic) that work very well for me when I'm running and listening to MP3s. Other headsets that I've tried don't work as well for running.
Has anybody gotten any adapters to work with headphones while leaving the mic enabled?
Thanks,
