I have upgraded my QTEK 9100 to the 2.26 ROM from RIsidoro (eventually...) and where I used to have the Comm Manager Icon on the Today page (bottom right) there is now a battery icon and I must either click Start, Programs to launch Comm Manager or press the button on the top left hand side. Is this by design? Can I restore the Comm Manager icon to the Today page?

If you would like the comm manager back you'll need to you can choose 1 of two options:

1. Use a different rom
2. Use PHMTrayLaunch and link to the shortcut

just a note, and I don't know if its the same design, but I own the T-mobile MDA and I too upgraded to the 2.26 rom from T-mobile, the icon for the comm manager is still there, on the bottom right next to the battery. Maybe you should call your carrier and see what they say, you might need to reinstall the rom.
