VZW shows 199 on an upgrade with a 2 year, but Amazon shows 49.99? Is that possible?

it looks like it is not only possible but happenin... what a great price? Why would VZW undercut themselves like that. And half the pics do not even look like a storm as we know it. curious, maybe they are trying to clear inventory for the storm 2?

What I wonder, is if that is only for new customers, rather than people upgrading, I might try to order it before I call for upgrade and see if it works?
