app manager wont close

I am supposed to have 5 apps always open, but I have 6 when I switch to the open apps menu... and when I try to open it, it simply wont open... I have to open it from the icon on the icon screen
any thoughts?

one thing i have learned with the BB's is that if there is an issue with it, then it is probably a 3rd party install! BB's are pretty rock-solid (well, ok, the Storm is a little squirrely!)...

no... sorry...it is not a thrid party install... it is the app manager for the third party installs...
