New Toshiba 2032SP / Thera User!!!!

Hello fellow Toshiba / Thera Users...

I just received the Toshiba 2032SP since my Palm i300 cannot use the unlimited Vision plan by Sprint. Sprint swapped it out for me but now that I have it, I have some questions and need help.

1. Accessories? Are they any (like secure belt clips, etc.).

2. Does this battery really need to be replaced with an extended version and if so, I saw somewhere on this thread something about a pack from Audiovox (case, battery, etc.).

3. I can't help but wonder if sprint did a number on me by swapping out my i300 (I had it less than a week, a palm phone) and sent me this 2032SP. The reviews are mixed and I was hoping to get some real user feedback from you folks.

I can always (and it would be a pain) send the 2032sp back and keep the i300 if I had too.

Thank you!

The 2032 is a great phone

I have had mine about a month and have found many accessories that I need. I have a case that I can attach to my belt from Piel Frama, I have a GPS System made by Pharos. I can use Power adapters for the iPAQ, or Toshiba E-700 series as well as the the ones meant for the 2032 itself. I have gotten a charge - n- sync cable from Gomadic. It also can use all the software written for Pocket PC 2002.

As to Battery life I tend to get almost 2 hours of talk time, but I always try to have a power adapter nearby. As to Pocket PC use I can get days if I don't use the phone much. The extended battery adds some bulk, but from all reports adds large amounts of usable talk time.

I love my 2032 and just bought 3 more off Ebay. Enjoy the world of the Toshiba 2032.

Toshiba 2032sp info

Great info!

Yes, so far its pretty good.

Although, I have to admit, the i700 for sprint does look very very impressive.

I just switched (today) from the Samsun i300 palm phone to the 2032.

Keep this in mind...the i300 came with 2 batteries (yes!) and average tme for each battery is 2 days switch off.

The 2032 is very nice but something inside me is yearning for the i300 or i330. It seems with all the pocket pc features, the real need is to get email and talk on the phone.

What did you get in terms of a screen film protector?

Only one place to go

Go to Pocket PC Techs for their writeshield screen protectors. There are no other protectors for me.
