I'm sorry to bring up telus again....

I called telus today after recieving my verision thera 2032sp from tessie toys. The person on the phone told me that it could not be activated because my esn# wasn't valid. I'm sure she was trying to activate it through the website because I got the same error. I am trying to do a swap from my samsung a760 on the plan I am currently on. what am I doing wrong?

I tried numerous times to activate on Telus. I found them very non-cooperative. If you do not have a Telus phone, they will not activate it. I even called to head office and asked them but they would not activate my 2032SP. I showed several Telus dealers my phone connected to their network and worked just fine but they would not even concider activating my phone.

I eventually activated mine on MTS, (Manitoba Telephone).

I had no problem whatsoever having my Thera activated on Telus last year..( it's a 'Verizon' phone) they just added it as an 'analogue' phone ( even though it isn't.. lol) and it worked fine... couldn't be done on the website tho...have to go to a store...independants are best... I even got hooked up to their digital only features like call display and voicemail and the 1x network worked too... I have since deactivated it in favor of my new Razor..I would sell it now for any reasonable offer....

I guess it all depends on the person working at the store. I tried 3 Telus stores and they wouldn't even look at me. I called Telus on the phone several times and they told me they would not activate any phone that was not a Telus phone.

I found 2 out of 4 MTS stores that were willing to activate my phone. I guess it all depends on the person you are dealing with. I liked the Telus plans and my phone seemed to prefer Telus but no luck activating with them.
