i have a newbie question...
how do i test my Audiovox Thera (Verizon) modem to make sure that everything all right? coz I heard that modem is the most critical/fragile point on thera

How i can make a different between verizon & sprint version?

With my phone, I just turned it on and it connected to 2 different cellphone companies. I just tried to make a phone call to a random local number. The phone dialed and I got a customer service recording saying my phone was not activated on their system. I called both and tried to activate the phone. One company would not activate it and the other did.

but i still not to clear about that...
I mean is there a ready application in thera like watcher or some thing for checking the modem?
or am i need to donwload 3rd party software?

All I did was turn the modem on with the switch on the left side of the PDA. When the modem initialized, Watcher finished booting. Once initialized, it said, "Ready to Connect". Once that was up and showing, I tried dialing a number. That is when I got a recorded message saying my phone was not activated on their network. There are 2 companies in my area that my Thera connects to. Depending where I was, I could connect to one or the other.

How do i make a different between verizon and sprint? through the system/software rather than see the chasing physically..

Sorry Jody but I don't know about that one. I'm a Newbie too. My Thera is a 2032SP (Sprint) but it has the Verison Watcher on it.

it's ok Renrut..atleast by looking the watcher we would know that it's from verizon or Sprint...right?

As far as I know, the Sprint Watcher has Sprint on it. Mine has Verison in the bottom right of the program screen.
