I'm trying to play a short .wmv on my 2032, the audio works fine, but there is no video portion that shows up. The black display area that usually has the windows media logo on it just turns black and there is no video. Any suggestions?

Don't use activesync to transfer the file over. Use cut and paste with your PCs file explorer. That should help.

Hello there. I had similar problems using Windows Media Player. For some reason there is a video codec error message that constantly pops up. After trying for days, I decided to get another program. The program that I downloaded is called The Core Media Player. However, this player plays basically everything but .wmv files. So what I had to do, I had to get a free trial of a file converter (Blaze Media Pro). I converted all of my .wmv files over to .mpeg files. The trial lasts 14 days (I believe). So if you want to do this, I suggest that you get all the files that you will ever want to play on your pda and convert them within that 14 day time span. Hope this helped some.

Hello all. I, too, had a similar problem with WMP... Here is my solution:
If you don't have the "Bliss" theme for the Today screen (mine didn't), on the Audiovox web site there is an update for the Windows 2002 on their site for the Thera. It is real easy to do, a bit scarry (stayed on the reset screen for a long time) for me... but it updates WMP, and IE. You can find it by doing a search of the downloads section. Now I have no problems with WMP playing .wmv files.
On a similar note, has anyone had any success (tried, failed, worked, etc.) in updating the Thera to Windows 2003? If I try this, and it fails, and my device dosen't boot, how do I get back to Windows 2002? I have a backup of my data (from ActiveSync as well as on an SD card), but not an image to load back onto the thing if there are any problems. Any help? Thanks.
