Actually there are 3 total passwords.

(As stated in the 8th post in this thread) When you hit ctr-D in watcher you get a new option (an advaced tab) in wacther (see the 9th post) the password for that is ##debug

Then you have the ability to access the "Debugging Log Tool" and Protocol Statistics". Now if you wanna access "Modem Configuration" it will then prompt you for Modem Configuration password which is nozirevpst

you are then right after that prompted for the Service Programming code (which as stated in the 8th post will vary between carriers.)

you can try 849744

Who's your carrier?

(Please Note: as stated in the subject of this thread I have verizon as a carrier and a PDA-2032)

I have Verizon and I am using the Thera.

I did try the 849744 number...did not work. Hmmm.

Where is it that I should be looking in order to find it?

Thanks.

Regards.

for the service programming code... try ##nozirev or 979797 or 000000

One of those should work for yah:.) (Different watcher firmwares have different codes along with different carriers)

Hybrid Driver Update

TWiST and I (mostly TWiST) have been vigorously trying drivers and mixing and matchin trying to "comeup" with a solution for this external modem issue.

We need to take a break for we have "thera" coming out our pours... I think we might have made a break through .... we might need to involve a serial cable though and ditch the USB cradel. Well keep everyone posted on the progress.....

Also in the process of trying Virtual USB Com Port...

Im thinking the only way to get this thing to connect is to have it connect via serial (looks like thats the way the drivers from serria are written).

When I install the mdmsb555.inf from Serria SDK it allows me to install Serria Wireless Modem to COM 1 or 2. I think if we can tell windows that the USB cradel is a serial port .. it just might work...

well I got a used thera on ebay for 50 bux it should be arriving today or tomorrow, so its "on" so to speak. my big mission other then the obvious that we have all been doing, as you can see in the pictures the internal CF card is the SB555 it is just using the external CF slot in an internal design so what im going to attempt to do is take the CF card itsself and make an adapter to go from there internal connection to a normal CF slot and then what I could do is take my Verizon enabled Modem and insert into the CF slot of my Toshiba e805 (which is BTW the absolute coolest PPC on the planet) and in theory use it exactly as I would on the thera but in a much newer and cooler PPC. we'll see what happens when my unit arrives and ill keep every1 posted, if any1 has any "extra" charging cables or sync cables they'de like to donate to Jocko88834 and I's continued research, for me, it would be greaty appreciated the unit I got on ebay is just a bare unit it has a broken antenna and supposedly the front light isnt as bright as it used to be he says the battery holds a "charge" so who knows if the battery is even usable. it comes with no cables and no charger but im hoping I can figure something out here. we'll see what happens . . .

were gonna get sick ! ! !

____________________________________________________

Please refer to the 25th and 27th post wihin this thread.... you should be able to access anything you want in your thera..... as far as "Changing the ESN" I'm not sure if the ESN is "linked" your your serial number of your unit or not and I personally do not know how to modify it (if we are even able to).

The only other CDMA carrier that im aware of other than Verizon would be Alltel. (in US <------ i shoulda posted that b4 )

If you find something out that we dont know.... post on and let us all know....

THANX

I used the 2032SP with Sprint,I enter the code with 979797 then got enter, but can't modify the carrier's information.
I am in China ,and here the Operator is China Unicom, used the most advanced technology with CDMA 1X of the R-UIM card witch like the SIM card of GSM,all user information is defined in the UIM card, all features can be modified with the watcher advanced menu, but the ESN(Electronic Sierial Number) of the SB555-T module,we are trying to write a programm to emulate the ESN on WINCE take instead of reading from the firmeware, then we can write the ESN of UIM card and use it,I will post what I know follow
