Question Accurate info on accesories, PLEASE

I know that not so many people own the PPC-5050
it, and that there are clones all over the place, but I'm sick of buying
accessories that would not work with it, naively thinking that it would be OK if
I buy the same stuff as for the XDA/QTEK 1010/T-mobile, etc., as I gather from
what I read in some misleading forums. I am told that the Siemens SX56 is also
a clone, but now I don't know what to believe. I was wondering if you guys could
clarify that issue.

First hand, I found out that sync/chargers for the said models don't charge the PPC-5050, they only
sync; and the earbud adapters don't fit at all (the do fit the previous Thera,
which I also own). This time, I want to buy the quite expensive keythumb (mini
thumboard, over 100 bucks), but I want to be sure first.

Why do I stick to this problematic device? It is the only one with unlimited
internet access available in Canada.

Thanks guys!

I wish it is an ipod with all kind of accessories to choose from

I bought a retractable mini-sync at boxwave.com. It sync like the cradle does and it seems to charge at the same time but I never really tested the charging. The retractable isn't that great, never fully retracted. Other than that, it's good and it's for ppc5050.

how much are you paying for the unlimited internet access?

Is it the 100/month plan from Bell or something else?
