Anyone figure out how to get rid of that irritating beeping while you're on a call AND you have an internet connection open?

It happens all the time. I can avoid it by ending the internet connection after I'm finished but that defeats the purpose of having the email prog. check emails every n minutes.

If you have checked the 'check for emails every .....' then you'll get that beeping if you send or receive a call.

My inbox is not setted to check e-mails automatically, i had a lot of beeps during a call for a while, and there is no more beeps still two months.... i don't know what i've done...( i'm happy to don't hear them again!) I just noticed if messenger is logged in, the beeps are very frustrating to hear.

The beeping is indeed caused by the simultaneous data and voice connections. The only way to avoid it (it seems) is to ensure the clash does not occur. I have stopped my e-mail from checking automatically. It does take away some of the functionality but I manually check regularly when I'm in a position to actually reply to the messages.
