Exclamation Upgrades?

Ok, so a quick question... do any firmware (or other) updates exist for the Audiovox 5050?

I don't think Audiovox cares about the phone... only the Canadian side of things knows anything about the phone (NY just keeps saying call Canada, we don't care).... and the Canadian office isn't really doing anything at all.... I'm having a bunch of problems, and there is no interest from anyone to fix them... I'm going to start emailing/calling Bell trying to see if maybe I can get an answer through them... but I am very upset with Audiovox... really has anyone had a good experience with them in regards to this phone?

I seem to have to reboot my phone daily to even have a hope of proper function. Also, despite having all my programs installed on a memory card the overall operation of the phone seems slow. Button pressing has a delay and there are several other annoyances.

I think at least an update is in order. I'm sure a hard reset and reinstalltion of everything might help too, but I'm not gettting into that.

I wouldn't count on a hard reset and reinstall being the answer... that based on the fact that it's exactly what I did last weekend in hopes to improve performance... and thus far my 5050 has been no better (4 resets today)....

I did my hard reset so I can reinstall most programs onto the sd ram, it frees the main memory and works better since then.
