Question 1x data transfer speed test

Hello all,
Our comapany bought the PPC 5050 so that our sales people could run some database application that required synchronization (vai 1x connection) with our office computer.
It all works fine except that the data transfer rate is horribly slow when compared to a pocket pc doing the same transfer via our LAN. I tried measuring the speed using one of the online test utilities, but it never worked. So here are my questions.
1) is there an online test utility that works with this OS to tell me how fast my 1X connection is?
2) Are there any other utilities down-loadable available that can do this (speed test) for me?

Thanks

Hello!

Try this: http://www.arqsite.com/speedtest/speedtest4.php

Its in French but it works well, if you need help to translate, ask!

I got a low score too, 56 kilobits/sec very far from the 163 kilobits/sec announced by Bell!

I got a score of 172.121 - pretty decent for my area (downtown - Saskatoon, SK).

I got 49.215. (in Lachenaie, Quebec) That sucks. That's it, I want to move our operations to Saskatoon. I think I'll have a "talk" with our bell rep.

Thanks all.
