I'm italian guy...I have a ppc4100..great pda but don't working gsm capabilities...I tried with replae the .dll files...but nothing...there is another way o do this??and...how make the hard reset??

To hard reset press and hold the power button and then press the reset button with the stylus. However, that is unlikely to help you.

My guess is that you are in an area where there is only signal in the 900Mhz band, which the ppc does not support. See my other post on the same topic some time ago. That has nothing to do with whether the phone is unlocked or not.

Si', le grandi citta' hanno segnale anche sulla banda 1800Mhz. Le aree rurali hanno segnale solo sui 900Mhz. La ragione e' che la banda 1800Mhz ha un raggio limitato ma puo' ospitare piu' connessioni contemporanee.

Confermo tutto, a Milano c'è segnale a 1800...nelle altre zone è + difficile ma non impossibile



Dipende anche dall'operatore.....qualcuno è OBBLIGATO a lavorare a 1800.
