I find it to be quite interesting... a few things.

First, wiring for your speakers seems to create an antenna "net" I have seen it as extreem as having your cell anywhere any of the wires or the speakers themselves.

Second, if you are interested in finding more about your CRT and what it actually does check THIS out. A short review... it essentially turns your CRT into a radio transmitter. having no speakers hooked up to your computer you can play music from your monitor. using a linux computer you can configure and run this program to create images on your computer screen and have it emmit at a particular frequency that can be picked up on an AM radio. Each image displayed on the screen creates a different tone on the radio. The program has compatibality built in to play the tunes the give you like mary had a little lamb and other BEEP BEEP BEEP songs, but others are trying to develop it into an mp3 player. overall Cool but useless stuff.

Bluetooth on the 4100

[quote]Originally posted by kaushal

The Bluetooth capability works. There are accessories available ( e.g. a spare battery). I like the removable battery. All you do is to swap the battery in a long flight.

How did you get bluetooth to work on the 4100? It id not bluetook capable out of the box.

I have a Bluetooth SDIO card by Socket. It works after a fashion. Doesnt work with headsets. It can do a BT sync, enabling downloading of email, although why one would want to download email(in the home) is not completely clear. But it could prove useful if you are visitng a friend who has BT enabled desktop.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, the audio on my 4100 failed. So i returned it for a replacement. They gave me no trouble. But i am still awaiting a working phone, now 5 weeks after i ordered it.

Where did you hear this?

Substring, where did you get your information about the TMobile release coming very soon? I've contacted at least 5 TMobile stores and they don't know anything about it. I've also goodled it and couldn't find that out. I remember waiting for Sprint to carry the SPH-I700.... I'm still tick'd. I almost went to ATTW and bought the PPC 4100. But after reading the reviews here I've decided to wait for the ipaq 6315 (maybe!).

I'm suffering ever since my ipaq 1945? screen was damaged. I returned it to sam's club, no questions asked (besides what's wrong with it) and they reimbursed me. Sam's Club is great!

thx,
