I loved how easy it was to JB my phone with this program, however, when I try to access the root menu via disk aide to replace the alarm.caf file that alerts when a calendar reminder applies (this is my only real reason to JB), I get told by DiskAide that I need a jailbroke phone to access the root menu. I've rerun blackra1n and go the same results. Any ideas? Any other way to JB the 3gs running 3.1.2? Thanks in advance.

I believe Pwnage Tool now can jailbreak a 3GS so you can always try re-jailbreaking using Pwnage Tool and then see whether your results are any different.
