Yes.

When you created the C-to-c network on your PC you craeted it with a password.

Just type in the password or pass number (you specified on the PC).

if you don't know the pass key, you can get it by going into the Admin account in your router. I had to do that last night actually.

PdaNet uses an ad hoc connection, so you shouldn't be using your router for anything in PdaNet. The passkey should, as Mark noted, be setup on your laptop.

I still cant get this pos app to work. Running 1.3. Network appears as it should on my tabletPC but doesn't appear on my iphone. When I try to manually enter the newly created network, it can't be found. pfft.

You have to be able to see the network on your iPhone in the wifi section 1st... if you can't see it there, then pdanet has nothing to work with.
