Verizon is no better. Went to my local service center/store where I first bought the phone. Asked about PRL updates. No one in the place had any idea of what a PRL update is. I described it to them, and told them that dialing #228 could get you one over the air in some markets. They thought that was quite cool and amazing, but didn't quite believe me because it seemed too fantastical...
Then they told me to go to another store (near where I live) because those folks are more techie. Problem is, that other store sent me to the current store! D'oh!
