Hi Steve,
Thanks for the web page. I have a few questions related to the mount. The Cup holder Mount seems easy except that in my Camry the Cup Hodlers are to my side near the arm rest rather then in front on the dash. This seems dangerous if I want to look a the screen while driving to see who is calling via caller id.


Now I see 4 other options,

1) a suction mount (which seems to me likely to fall off a dash board freqeuntly)

2) A magnetic Mount. This seems like a bad idea for a digital device like a cell phone. Might the Magnetic Screw up the phone?

3) A ClamShell mount. This might work except I am unable to tell by the picture provided where or how this is suppsoed to mount in the car. Does anyone know what a Clamshell mount is and how easy it is to install and use?

4) Some sort of stand mounts (flex and non-flex). I am not sure how there are supposed to mount to the car either. Does anyone know?


I would like to have a better idea which one is likely to be best for me, before I buy it.

NOTE: In my Camry I have an empty slot above the stereo and to the right of the steering wheel. It is about the size of a car stereo. Perhaps something that mounts to that might be convenient. (Note Eventually I may get a CD player for the car so I do not know if this slot will be needed). I am not sure it is even for car stereo components.
