Sorry for the intrusion as I'm usually on the 6800 forums but maybe you might be able to answer some questions for me as my 2 every is coming up in Oct with my contract termination in Dec. I'm looking for a new device (prefer Verizon- been with them over 9 years). I've narrowed it down to the Touch Pro 2 and Omnia 2 (no forum yet to ask). I absolutely love how sleek the current Omnia is - really looks rich and I'm waiting to see what the amoled screen looks like on the 2.

1) When making a phone call do you accidentally wind up activating something with your ear? A lot of the Touch pro guys are having this issue.
No, there is a screen lock that turns on when you make a call.

2) Do you really need the stylus - reason I ask is that I hate the way the stylus on the Omnia hangs by the lanyard on the side. Is this something you can do away with? How finger-friendly is the phone?
I use a stylus sometimes, but about 95% of the time i don't need it or dont' have it.

3) I've always had a device with a physical keyboard so how accurate is the on-screen keyboard (responsiveness, accuracy, ability to type quickly)?
I can't type that quickly on a virt keyboard. I see others do quite well. that is my only complaint is to not have a keyboard. you can get used to it though. I had the Saga and this is a better phone by 2x.

4) I've noticed a lot of people are using SPB 3 (which I'm using on my 6800) but can these programs also be used (TCPMP, Pocket player 4.1, SPB backup, Resco Registery editor/explorer, Memmaid, Mobipocket, SPB Pocket Plus and Microsoft Voice Command 1.6)? I'm guessing that since this is a Windows phone it should work ok.
I use SPB3 and love it. i'm also running 6.5. I'm sure all the programs you listed will work as i see people in the forums using them.

5) Does the Omnia/Omnia 2 have a microsd expansion slot? I've got a 16GB card now and it's nearly full with music, movies, books, pictures and a few programs that I didn't want to install on my current devices main memory (really low to begin with out of the box).
Yes, the OMnia has 8GB built in and a MicroSD in addition. I think it can handle 16 as well, i have an 8GB in mine.
