Here we are on July 1st, it is now 3rd Quarter 2009 or 2nd Half.

Verizon made a commitment to unlock the 910 in the 1st half of the year. It looks more like trying to placate current users and induce others to buy the phone based on a promise.

Well I happen to love my Omnia now that it runs SPB Mobile Shell 3, but the lack of open GPS support and more importantly Verizon's practices may require a network change after over a decade of loyalty.

The Omnia II looks really nice with a much needed resolution bump and front-facing camera, but if the device is crippled, good night verizon...
