It's not as quick as my Freedom 2000 GPS keychain device, but the little I used it yesterday it was placing me in the right spots.

the chipset in this phone actually can do agps or "normal gps". that's why its complex to enable. VZNave uses the Agps feature of the chipset but other apps will go to the stand alone gps.
Being stadalone gps in a device not made specifically for it, it's bonud to be slow to get a cold lock.
I'm having a devil of a time getting the gps to work- been busy at work so haven't had 10 minutes to sit outside and get a lock- now I'm home and it's raining...
