In terms of the signal switching eating up battery, is there a setting to force evdo or 1x or another fix to squeeze more battery life?
Also, I just have to rant...
<rant>
I cannot believe that the USB and car chargers were not designed to adequately charge this phone. This is the first device I have ever owned with this issue - and I've owned a lot. With the i730, battery life was never an issue and I used it a lot, including wifi, broadband to watch movies over orb, etc. Even when I'd get low, I could at least plug it into a USB port and it would ADD charge, not continue leaking it away. Very lame! I'm not happy with this issue at all! Samsung should provide a second AC adapter to make up for poor design engineering. A failure in my not so humble opinion...

Hmmm, do I feel any better..... nope... Off to spend another $20 for an AC adapter... Grrrrrr
