The thread made me wonder if Verizon is actually going to release the Offical Rom to unlock GPS.

I understand the reason "why would Verizon have a Rom created if they were not going to release it". But creating a Rom and distributing it to every Omnia i910 is a whole other financial situation.

Maybe they will screw us i910 owners and put the money into something new and crowd pleasing like the Omnia II.

That sounds more characteristic of Verizon than if they actually released something benefical to their customers.

BTW O II looks awesome, hope I will be able to get it for $50 like I did the original.
