I agree with what the others have posted. The 6800 is almost unviewable in direct sunlight and I'm using a PPCtechs anti-glare protector also but I have found that sometimes angling the device makes if more viewable but not by much.

If you use it the car on a mount then the screen is pretty clear since your inside.
