In an area with reasonable signal strength, on a full charge using the wall charger that came with the phone, my phone will last 3 or 4 days with moderate use if I'm lucky, but at least 2 or 3 days no problem.
Poor signal tower signal strength is a battery killer even in the best phones. The car charger doesn't put a charge on the phone that lasts very long, but will keep your conversation alive if you're on a long trip and plugged in. Ditto with charging via USB.
My wall charger takes about 3 1/2 hours, give or take, to fully charge a nearly dead battery. It'll "wake up" to notify you that it's fully charged and the red light on the power button on the top will turn green. This isn't the case with the USB charger. I've never had it on the car charger, while paying attention to the red/green light, long enough to know if it turns green.
