Obviously everyone's usage and demands are different and I hope you find a device that works for you. Compared to me and my usage, it seems you are retrieving data that is heavier and probably more frequently. I just got home a little bit ago and after a full days use ( for me) I have right at 50% battery left. Started my day at 5 am. I dont use exchange push email to get immediate email but rather have it set to every 2 hours. If I'm waiting for something important I'll make it more frequent but most of the time it suffices for me to be at 2 hrs. I used probably 45-60 minutes of talk time, guessing 30 text messages, wifi internet for maybe an hour total, viewed pictures for about 20 minutes, took 4 or 5 photo's ( macro setting and photo'ed a couple documents ), played about 30 minutes of a game, fooled around with it for maybe another hour. That's a typical day for me and like I said I'm at 50%, so it's fine for me. What I will say and has been mentioned elsewhere is that once it gets below maybe 50% it tends to drop much faster than it took to get to that 50%.
