I've been noticing the same. i think the "60" is more like 6 seconds. I think i may increase it a bit. I'm also beginning to think (hope?) the internal meter is rather pessimistic - spbshell claimed %80 when the phone was saying less. Regardless this is a trade off of convenience for battery life.
