The alarms haunted me for weeks, but even though the appointment had passed. I even deleted the entry and everything else on that date and still had the problem. Then I finally connected the phone to my pc and the uploaded the calendar from the phone using Quicklink Mobile Phonebook and there it was - just waiting for me to delete it. For some bizarre reason the appointment was still there but just couldn't be seen on the phone's screen. I'd tried it all - power it off, then on again, remove the sim card, let the battery run all the way down and charge it back up again - but uploading it to the computer did the trick.
