Call verizon customer service. Instead of going through all the automated menu BS just press 0. When you get a hold of someone, ask to be transferred to a tech. Ask them about the phones issues and how to dl the BJ10 file.

Check out this post if you haven't already. I didn't see it at first but read through the pages and it walks you through on how to install it. Looks like almost all the posters had successful results in getting their EV-DO connections back

My problem was never EVDO, but running third party apps. Pretty sure I'm heading over to the OTHER evil empire, AT & T, within the next 5 months, especially if an iphone nano is coming...
