Don't know what this file does but if I have to do a hard reset and this file isn't restored, what will be the consequences? I did some research and it is reported that this message appears, not only with Sprite Backup but also with SPB, Resco, and every other backup program tried. It appears to be something about the Omnia because all references to this backup warning were reported on the Omnia.
What about it guys? Are our back-ups in jeopardy? How should we deal with it if they are?

I successfully restored from a backup without having POCKETFS.SYS included in the backup (based on getting the same warning message).
It seems to be a file involved in interfacing to FLASH memory (\My Storage?).
SAMSUNG Semiconductor - products - Flash - Flash Software
It is a Samsung-specific file system. That's why you wouldn't get it on a Touch Pro, XV6800, etc.
Here is what OneNAND flash memory is all about.

According to advice on an Spb Guru, you can either unlock the file so it can be included in the backup or ignore it (my guess is that it's recreated from the organization of flash memory but I should check in spite of the warning whether it's being included in my backup).

I will check and edit my post accordingly.
