Spoke to a VZW tech on the phone today. I told her I was interested in buying the i760 but heard about the issues with it. She told me that there were issues but that they are currently re-releasing the phone. She said that there is now a software update you can install that will fix any issues with getting EV connection.

She told me to go to verizonwireless.com and search for the Samsung i760 phone. Once on the page for that phone, go to support and download the software update called BJ10 and the issues should be fixed.
