Announcements:
NOTE: Samsung Omnia (i900)

The Samsung Omnia device is currently not supported. We are currently investigating the problem and will have more news soon.
Current version of Sprite Backup 6 is 6.5.4

We recommend that you update to this version which can be downloaded from here: Sprite Backup 6.5.4
Check what version you have - open Sprite Backup and tap Options> Help> About.
I have had a complete lockup and had to hard reset and restore my phone from a backup of Main Memory made with Sprite Backup v6.5.2. I restored from a self-executing executable on my microSDHC card. Everything has been working fine except for two minor things.

I occasionally get a warning that WM can't find SpriteBackupStart.exe or something like that-plan to reinstall Sprite Backup to fix this. And doing the actual backup itself, I got a warning that I was critically low on storage in Main Memory (but that's a separate issue-need to look out for huge downloads of Windows Media Player video to Main Memory).

I never use the Migrate feature in Backup and Restore programs because, hey, I'm migrating to a brand new device and what do those programmers, no matter how clever, already know all the migration issues for a brand new device? I completely reinstall everything. Migrate my PIM information by synchronizing with Exchange server. Migrate alot of stuff like eWallet, Spb Finance, PhatNotes by synchronizing the desktop program to my new handheld.

My wife wants to go shopping and do other Xmas stuff (even Chinese ladies love shopping!) so I'm sorry not to give a more complete answer. But I put Sprite Backup to the test and it came through for me.
