Good thread Jim!

Ok so let me start off by saying I use SPB Backup. I assume it works just as good as any other back up program. Even makes executable files so you don't need to reinstall the program after a hard reset if you don't want to. When I first got this phone I backed up my i760's contacts & SMS/MMS for transfer. I figured the phones are different so you just can't back up & transfer everything, but text and contacts should be fine. Anyway after the transfer everything seemed cool. . . Then I tried to receive a MMS. I could send just fine, but I could not receive. Well it would tell me I have a new message, but when I went to look at it nothing was not there. *HARD RESET* - Good thing I back up my contacts on the PC also.

Moral of the story. . .Who needs 300 old text messages that say "Wut U doin bro" and "Call you n a sec"? Apparently not me
