hi,
i have sprite backup, 6.5.2, and it seems to work fine. also, i don't know where you are seeing that it is not compatible. per their website:
Latest Version: Sprite Backup is 6.5.4
Compatible with all Windows Mobile 5, WM6 and WM6.1 devices - Touchscreen and Non-Touchscreen sprite support page listing compatability
this page show what devices they have actual knowledge of, but at the top of the page it still states that it works with ALL WM6.1 devices.
