I've had my Omnia for a week now, and I've had two days so far that I didn't make it through the day without having to re-charge. One of those days, I used VZNavigator from Jacksonville, FL to Orlando, FL - but the phone was plugged into the car 12V during the trip. I may not have turn off the VZNavigator when I arrived, and that may have caused the power drain.

The other day I had to recharge early I had an hour and a half conference call among other normal usage.

There were times I had to recharge / swap batteries in my 760, so I think it is my amount of usage, not any additional power requirement of the Omnia.

I looked at the additional capacity battery, but I hate what it does to the overall size of the Omnia (large bump on the back). The current form factor is one of the pluses - I prefer it to the 760.
