Spb Mobile Shell on the Omnia Rocks!

OK, folks. The widgets are amusing but you won't need them with the Spb Mobile Shell. Go to Start, Settings, Personal tab, Today applet, Items tab. Uncheck Samsung Widget. The Widgets go away.

Download the trial version of Spb Mobile Shell. Install.
Spb Mobile Shell - Pocket PC Products - Spb Software House

It's much more logical, organized, and useful than the Widgets or the two Samsung main screens (today screens).

Spb Mobile Shell can be used in conjunction with Spb Pocket Plus. For tips on how to integrate them, read here:
Spb Club :: View topic - Using Spb Mobile Shell with Spb Pocket Plus

After installing Mobile Shell, I still had 60 Mb free RAM (measuring after killing all running tasks in the Omnia Task Manager).

Don't like Mobile Shell, just go to Remove Programs (Start, Settings, System, Remove Programs). It uninstalls cleanly and you can recheck the Widget option to bring 'em back.

Read in a blog somewhere that it's best to install the Mobile Shell before installing Pocket Plus.
