According to vzw tech support the bj10 update solves the authentication issue after hard reset. I upgraded last night and did not have to call vzw to authenticate phone to make and receive calls once upgraded to bj10.
Wouldn't you know it, started seeing a dark spot on screen one week after warranty!!! The rep tried to replace my device with a refurb 6800 for a $50 fee! But there were no batteries in stock, so i decided to wait. Tried to work a deal to replce with a storm, but they would not budge. Said it was not a comparable device. Would I have better luck pleading my case to my sales rep who I have an established relationship with? Now that I noticed the dark spot on the screen it's all I can see and it is making me crazy!
