Sadly, VZW and Sammy have still not updated the information pages regarding what exactly is included in MR3 (while the instructions are for MR3, the release notes I've been able to find are all for MR2). Until they do, we are left with the anecdotal information from those who try it and post their results here. I am personally not affected by the MEID issue (older i760 and in CA -- not a Nortel zone as far as I know), but am encouraged by the reports so far concerning slightly improved performance. I may indeed do the upgrade this weekend -- though doing it remote from my office (Exchange Server) means a very long initial synch! The two major issues that I suffer from are multiple BT devices (a daily irritation) and not waking from sleep (not so often anymore). From what others have posted, I am not hopeful for a resolution to those (especially since Sammy and VZW continue to claim the BT issue was fixed in MR2!!). Best.
