I installed the beta on my HTC Mogul with Sprint today. The browser is by far the best browser that I have used for Windows Mobile. I have to say that I have only really used Pocket Internet Explorer until today. I used Opera at one time but I didn't think it was too big of a difference from Pocket Internet Explorer (I could be wrong).
I believe that Skyfire is headed in the right direction. The software is definitely a beta version and has its glitches. Within the first few minutes of trying the browser, I quickly realized that if you try to access any website that has a pop-up on a normal PC browser, Skyfire basically freezes and forces you to close the program. I wasn't able to access a couple of websites because of this issue.
Overall, I think the browser is a product that has great potential. I had my first opportunity the other day to see how the iPhone's browser worked and I have to say that it was nothing but beautiful. I tried to access my college's website to view my grades through Skyfire but wasn't able to (pop-up). However, the iPhone didn't have an issue.
If Skyfire is able to get past its glitches, I would say that one of the weakest links for Windows Mobile (browser capabilities) just went away.
