I have owned the SMT5800 since March and so far I have mostly loved this phone. I have had a few problems with txting from the start that haven't gone away like I had hoped. First, I used to be able to receive very long txt messages (longer than 160 characters) on my old LG phone. On the 5800 it's hit or miss and sometimes I get only part of the message and then an additional message that says the previous message was truncated. Other times I dont get the txt at all. And yet other times it will come across as multiple messages just fine. And when someone sends me a long txt it can take up to an hour to receive it, which backlogs any other txts from coming through. The other problem I have is there are times when I dont get a txt message at all. It doesn't matter if it's short or long and there doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to it (from different people/carriers, times of day, location I'm in, etc.)

This is very frustrating because I send/receive over 2400 txt messages a month.

Has anyone else been having this problem? Did you discover a solution?
