I have ordered the Samsung i760 (Verizon), moving from my BB 8830. I anticipated upgrading to WM 6.1 immediately out of the box. HOWEVER, based on this ongoing thread I am not sure I should. As much as I'd like to have the fixes and features in 6.1, it sounds like everyone is running into big problems. I was hoping that updating a "virgin" phone with no 3rd party apps. installed etc. would work well.

Any advice from the forum? I'd hate to mess up my new phone!
(I have Vista Enterprise on my desktop)
