If they say the 3G problem can be fixed with a software fix and it may be available at the end of the month, I wonder if Apple is referring to 2.1 Beta 3 that is currently in the hands of a few. Update 2.1 is supposed to become available in September. Wonder if anyone knows anyone with the Beta and can confirm if they are getting better 3G reception.
