The real kicker is that in order to reconnect the car to the phone, I have to cycle power to the car!!!
In California you must be handsfree now. So when I'm driving down the freeway and the phone unpairs, I can no longer make or receive calls unless I pull over and bounce the car's power.
I don't have any other BT devices paired with the phone - just the car. Many other coworkers who have Plantronics headsets with the i760 complain that their headsets unpair frequently as well. For them, they just turn off the headset and turn it back on to repair. Can't do that with the Prius very easily.
FIX THIS!!!!!!

Same problem here!
I reported this problem on this forum last year when I got my phone.
Over time, I discovered that most of the time (98%) it losses the pairing within first 1-3 minutes. Then when I cycle the power (turn off Prius), then it'll pair and stays paired. The only problem after it, is then sometimes (not very often) it looses the pairing after the phone call - go figure.
When I was asked about recomendation for the PDA from coworker, I said that I love the phone and the only problem I have is BT with Prius, he decided to go with the HTC (XV6800) rather then with i760 -Samsung lost the sale!
I'm patiently waiting for the fix..., but I'm not sure how longer.
If the BT will start causing me problem when driving too often, I'm going back to my old phone - no PDA and Verizon will loose the monthly Broadband charges from me. I will use the i760 in PDA (with WiFi) mode only - no phone.
I'm a very long with Verizon (going back to AirTouch) - over 13 years now.
I like coverage across the US - never have a problem when travel accessing internet, call quality, coverage, etc.
