ok next question would be which do you get more often 1x or EVDO Active Sync passes alot more data around than the blackberry server before the actual email push.... in all actuality as soon as you get an email push it checks for phone book, Task and calander changes as the message downloads then sets the notifier once the Header and partial email are downloaded unless you have your phone set to download full message then it won't notify till the whole message is recieved either way black berry does have a slight advantage over the Win Mobile devices for notification speeds but it really doesn't try to do as much at the same time as active sync and to be honest the black berry was designed to really just be a work phone Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phones where meant to be as useful as a full laptop Media Games Productivity without limitations and access to pretty much everything you can do on you computer
