I use companion link to sync with google calendars, then I have an app that syncs my iPhone with google calendars. I could use iCal to subscribe to the google calendars andrhen sync, but if I am on the road, I'm screwed. Also, I have to do it this way because it is my work computer and I have limited privileges to install apps
