I am using Sprint 6800 and USB Modem. It works well, but I have learned
that I must follow an exact sequence to get it to connect.

0. Start the network connection on the PC. (set up per USB Modem
instructions)

1. Phone unplugged, soft reset
2. Shut off Active Sync on phone
3. Start Explorer on the PPC.
4. Start USB Modem and enable it.
5. Plug phone USB into the computer
6. Dial the connection on the PC.

It took me awhile to figure this out. It always works, but is cumbersome.
The soft reset can't be skipped. The slightest deviation and there's no
connection. It must be that some pieces of the overall application don't
reset cleanly unless one does this.

Does anyone know if PDA net is less fussy?

BTW, I have the $15/mo data plan and never pay extra charges. I get
900K downloads typically on Rev A.
