me too- all of a sudden after I tried to plug in a headset, my volume won't work but has come back briefly one or 2 times. Just now I tried to plug & unplug a headset & that worked but I don't trust it will be permanent. If I have to replace this xv6700 what's my next step (must have pda!) Thanks!
